Could you write more about the plot?

Hia, I joined because I can't pass up a fantasy rp with a low word count, so you're not going to lose me or anything, but I am having trouble with my application.

Before I make a character I need to know more about the plot. I'm kind of confused. Here are some of my questions:

- Can I join as a civilian

- How old are the students?
5. starts at 6 until like the age you are in RL university

- Is their an age limit?

- How intelligent are the dragons?

- Can the dragons speak?
8. they only speak to who they are bonded to since only the bonded one can hear but dragons can hear other dragons speak

- Does my student have to do something special before they earn a dragon?
9. no they just wait for the hatching and see if they get bonded if not they wait again

- Does my student get a dragon or a dragon egg?
10. dragon they wait for the eggs to hatch in the hatching and see if they get bonded if not they wait for next hatching

- How long does it take dragons to mature?
11. three to four years

- Do dragons have magic powers, or are they just animals?
12. no they do not have powers they have a element and something they produce

- Do dragon riders have magic powers?
13. no dragon riders.trainers do not have any

- Is this the only dragon academy?

- Where is the academy?
15. its up in the clouds of who knows which cloud (not on earth but they follow the rules of earth) people who are born on earth and now about the dragon stuff have choices to be a trainer/rider or stay mortal

- How do you get into the academy?
16. as it says you have to pass a scanning at the front doors to get in there isnt much of a way to like enroll really

- What kind of lessons are taught at the academy?

- Are wild dragons a threat to humans?

Sorry, now I have more questions ^^;

When you say people have the choice to become a rider or "stay mortal" does that mean that a dragon rider will not have a normal lifespan?

How do you get to the academy if it's in the clouds?

Does the government utilize the dragons in war?

What if you live in a rural area and wild dragons are killing your livestock and putting your family in danger?

Is it legal to slay dragons?

I'm saying that if you were an atheist you would suddenly be faced with solid evidence of the existence of magic. Not to mention in the christian faith the word 'dragon' is interchangeable with 'Satan.' Would the church want to slay dragons?

1. people who were born as riders and trainers (they were born um in the clouds and they live there) so they are usually people who live longer unless the dragons kill them

2. like i said above they live in the clouds if you are mortal and you know about thee dragon stuff they send you a letter and then they will tell you about coming or not and then you just tick of yes or no throw it in the ground and then they teleport you there.

So if you're born in the clouds you're automatically a rider, or you could be born on the surface as a rider and receive a letter when you are of age?

Or do you mean 'if you are a mortal and you know about the dragon stuff' that dragons are a secret like magic in the world of harry potter, and that to become a rider you must have found out about the secret?

But they have religion on the surface, not just in the clouds, so wouldn't the church just kill all the dragons on the surface?

Or are their multiple islands in the clouds all over the world?

In this universe have the cloud islands always been there or did they arrive with the dragons?

What keeps the islands in the air?

What year did the dragons return?

What is the Skyland called?

How big 'very super duper big'? As large as New York City? Rhode Island? England? New Zealand? China?

Why would anyone want to be a dragon rider?

What do dragon riders do?

How smart are the dragons? You said 'smarter than you think' but I have no basis for comparison so I don't know what to think. How smart do they seem? Do they seem as smart as dogs? Chimps? Humans?

So the island rests on the clouds or the island is made of cloud?

If the dragons have only been back for a year then that means the academy has only been open for a year?

If the dragons have only been back for a year then how can their be dragon riders? If you become a tamer when your egg hatches then everyone's dragon should still be a year old and not fully mature or able to be ridden.

How can you have instructors that know "health for dragons, dragon care, stuff about dragons and training dragons and riding them" if the dragons have only been around for a year? What makes the instructors more learned than the students?

Please don't caps-lock me. This maybe annoying (for both of us) but I'm actually trying to do you a favor here. I guarantee you 100% that for every person like me who asks a question there are a dozen more who just don't bother joining and leave the site because they're confused about what's going on. You think I enjoy asking all these questions? I just want to make a profile but I'm confused about the plot. You're the creator of this site, it's in your best interest to listen to your members and to make things as clear as possible. It's not my fault you created this intricate (and interesting) world and then neglected to give everyone the details about it. As the leader of this site it's your job to get everyone on the same page. When a member is confused you should help them, then look into why they were confused and fix the problem. You shouldn't shout at them because of the mistakes you made.

Let me give you a run down on how visitors experience this site, based on my personal experience:

I just followed the ad and I got to the homepage. I was wondering what the site is about. I see a picture of a dragon, I see 'Our destiny is calling'. I think 'Oh a dragon rp!' So I go to 'important scrolls' and I look for a plot. Nothing. I go to 'Newbie Scrolls.' Nothing. I look up and down the site but I don't see a plot anywhere. Then I look in the corner of the page and I see this in tiny letters:
"Welcome to Our Destiny is Calling a Dragon Role-Play. Our Destiny is Calling is set in 2014 when the mystical creatures dragons come back to life. Feel free to browse around and chat on our cbox."
But that's not right because it's a school rp, I gathered that by looking at the sub-boards. So it's not a dragon-rp it's a human rp with dragons in it. Well I guess I'll join and tell the leader of the site they should write more about the plot.

But most people wouldn't do that! Most people would do this:

So they would not have to die since they are usually immortal when they live up there

What do dragon riders do? I know they train and ride dragons, but why? Like in Harry Potter wizards could be curse breakers and aurors. In Eragon the dragon riders were knights. What kind of careers await graduated dragon riders?

Why do we need blue?
Because everything else on the site is blue and the background is brown and it clashes. Trust me, I'm an art student, I took color theory.

No they are new ones since when they dissapeared the teachers just left and gave up but then new ones came but they are immortal.

Royalise, you can keep the brown background okay. But I just have to say that I'm a 22 year old art student and I don't consider myself a good artist. To say that you know better than me because you 'took art' and 'were the best at it' is just unwise. Art is an ongoing process, if you think you're a good artist you'll never get better.
